    A Close-Knit Community

Graduate school is challenging. That’s why Des Moines University’s welcoming and collaborative environment offers students an important advantage. Faculty are accessible and prioritize student learning and success. Students support each other in classes, labs, extracurricular activities and social gatherings on and off campus. A variety of academic resources help students improve their learning skills and navigate any bumps along the way.

A variety of student clubs and organizations allow students to explore medical specialties, network and learn about themselves and other cultures. Our Wellness Center and fitness programs help members of the campus community improve their health and wellness. Campus events often bring that community together for intellectual and social engagement.

Greater Des Moines also offers a vast range of events, activities, volunteer opportunities and social and religious organizations for students and their families.
